This tutorial is showing how to copy or move a website to another host while maintaining the same domain name.
Scope: You will have some webmaster experience and be familiar with shared hosting concepts. This is most suitable for the web owner who might be interested in moving their Joomla website to a new host. Not just Hostinger as in the tutorial but this method works well for any other host.
This method uses Akeeba Backup and Akeeba Kickstart. An alternative method would be to use the command line to zip up all the files and folders. Then use SQL to duplicate the database to a file. Akeeba makes this easier and brings some improvements to that manual method and is recommended if you don't have an opinion.
